Up until now, this blog has been existing solely on my local machine and just recently uploaded to a live site. I’ve been planning this for about a year now, I just had to wait for the right time, as I’m going to dedicate all my energy toward this project.
I’m a programmer, so when I got home from Christmas break, I set about learning what it will take to make a completely custom WordPress blog. I’ve had WordPress blogs before, but I always used so many different plugins and themes, they became unwieldly. With just a little bit of php knowledge and html/css/bootstrap knowledge, I was able to come up with a stream-lined theme and customize everything exactly how I want it. This is Phase 1, the basic theme template. I hope to continue working on the blog and make it look better and better!
I’ve already made a custom post type of “Game” and am able to import Board Game Geek api to add features to the site. I have so many ideas to make this the perfect board game blog, I can barely sleep at night. xD

I have a little bit of photography and Photoshop skills, and all photos in this blog will be done by me unless stated otherwise. I look forward to furthering my photography and studio lighting skills, as well as web development skills.
